ABOUT PESHTIGO WOMAN'S CLUB
The Peshtigo Woman's Club was founded in 1914, emerging as a vital community organization dedicated to promoting education, civic responsibility, and cultural enrichment in Peshtigo, Wisconsin. Over the years, the club has played a significant role in various local initiatives, including supporting public libraries, organizing community events, and advocating for social causes. The members of the club have consistently worked to foster a sense of unity and progress within the community, providing a platform for women to contribute actively to the civic and cultural life of the area. Today, the Peshtigo Woman's Club remains an important part of the community, honoring its long-standing tradition of service and empowerment.
The club meets for meetings on the second Monday from 6-8 pm (5-6 social hour) in the following months:
March October
April November
May December
We also have a community invited Fall Social event on the second Monday in September from 6-8 pm.
Mostly, we work hard throughout the year in various ways to generate funds through volunteering at our events.
There are several ways to volunteer. We need exposure, advertising, hands on work, being a chair of a committee, and becoming an officer.
Our club provides numerous opportunities for members to get involved, from organizing charity events to volunteering for local causes. We believe in the power of community and the strength of women united for a common purpose. Whether you're looking to contribute your time, resources, or talents, Peshtigo Woman's Club welcomes you to be part of our journey toward positive change.
